Ankiro Reportal

Ankiro Reportal consists of three different parts (see below). Together, they constitute a strong tool that can help you by optimizing the search engine so that it reflects the information users look for on your website.

Searches

A search log lets you closely examine how users use the search engine. What do they look for? What do they click? How many results do they get etc.? Filters can be set up to track individual search words, user sessions or documents.

  • Top lists
  • Search words used
  • Searches without results
  • Searches grouped
  • Number of searches
  • Number of results per search
  • Number of user sessions per search
  • Click ratio
  • Map showing what searches lead to click on links
  • User session tracking (follow the behaviour of a given user using the search engine)

Index

An index log shows what the crawler has encountered. This is only relevant to products containing a crawler.

  • All links found by the crawler
  • All indexed documents
  • Filetypes not supported
  • Documents not being indexed due to custom filter rules
  • HTML documents containing broken links
  • Link population (how many other documents point to this one)
  • Toplist of most often chosen links (most popular documents)

Reports

The reports show detailed graphs of trends encountered by the search engine. Learn when and how your customers use the search engine and see what parts of your website they focus on. At the same time you get easy to understand views of the number of searches, results, searches per user etc. - all ready to print or export to Excel.
